Under an alternative spelling Morell would live up to his billing, another Intelligence mushroom. Indeed the windowless vaults of the Intelligence Community are known as mushroom factories. The slur originated with DIA which used to be located in the mezzanine basement of the Pentagon.

It's not clear to me what role Shia Hezb'allah may have played in the Benghazi fiasco. However, if the objective was to blow the clandestine shipment of Quadaffi era arms to Sunni "moderates" in Syria/Iraq, then you have to conclude that the Iranian false flag operation was a resounding success. Morell's transparent mendacity was probably designed to cover a 'black' operation, gun running to the Levant. Hence, Benghazi is thrice a failure. Libya is a failed state, CIA ops there have been compromised, and American diplomatic representation has been run back to Foggy Bottom.

Withall, if Timmerman is correct, then we might think about rapproachement with Iraq. If we must take sides in the war for Islam, Shia Tehran seems to be more effective than our putative Sunni "allies." America does not have a dog in these civil wars, but if we must take sides, why not pick a winner?

For $22,000 I can swear that all I saw at the consulate that night were some kids from the local yeshiva. Having done that, I am sure Al-Jazeera will match the amount.
